About Me

About Me

Movement has always been a part of who I am—it's how I grew up and how I've always pushed myself. From hockey to skiing, snowboarding, and golf, staying active wasn't just something I did, it was part of my identity. That passion eventually led me to spend several years teaching skiing and snowboarding, including three years full-time.

I later built a career in Banff, Alberta as a driver guide and coach bus driver. While I enjoyed helping people experience the mountains, the reality of long hours, physical strain, and time spent sitting began to take a toll. Over time, injuries forced me to step away from the sports that had always defined my lifestyle.

Losing that connection to movement was a turning point.

At the same time, the sedentary nature of my work made it harder to stay active and maintain my health. I reached a point where I knew something needed to change—so I made the decision to take my fitness seriously and commit to rebuilding.

Not long after, I suffered a shoulder injury at work. During rehab, I worked with a personal trainer who helped me do more than just recover—he helped me rediscover what movement could feel like when done with purpose. I rebuilt my strength, improved my mobility, and developed a completely new mindset around training.

The gym stopped being just a place to work out—it became a place to evolve.

My path hasn't been perfect. I've dealt with injuries, setbacks, and times where progress felt slow. But those experiences taught me something more valuable than quick results—they taught me consistency, resilience, and how to adapt.

They taught me how to evolve.

That journey is what led to the creation of Evolution Fitness & Wellness—a brand built on the idea that progress isn't linear, and real strength comes from pushing through challenges, learning your body, and constantly improving over time.

This isn't just fitness to me. It's a mindset – my goal is to help you TRAIN harder, RECOVER smarter, PERFORM better.
